Dyslexia Reading Difficulties – Treatment Colour Tinted Glasses – Case Study

Keyword SEO Pro – In action as a keyword tool.

Keyword SEO Pro helps to find the best keywords for a webpage from a list of potential keywords. In this example, the Keyword Planner has been used to find the keywords and their search volumes.  Keyword SEO Pro indicates the keywords that are in range for webpages on the website.

An optician (optometrist) near London has a special interest in the treatment of reading difficulties associated with dyslexia with coloured tinted lenses.

( Until 2015, KSP used Google PageRank data. Google no longer provides updates. KSP from 2015 uses Moz authority scores. These are approximately 10-fold PageRank readings.)[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]The analysis to the left shows results with KSP when it used PageRank data. The following analysis shows a 2015 analysis when KSP uses Authority data from Moz. Note the similarity allowing for the fact that Moz readings are approximately 10-fold the PageRank readings.

The keyword has moderate keyword difficulty – TPR 7.8. As a rule, a webpage can compete for a keyword where its TPR is no more than 2 below the average TPR keyword difficulty for that keyword. The TPR of the HomePage of the website is 3.

Using the formula for TPR

the effective TPR for the HomePage of this website is 3+4.5   (3+1.5) = 7.5

With good on-page optimisation for this keyword, and some incoming links with the keyword in the anchor (linking text) top page positioning on Google should be possible. However, with only 10 searches per month in the UK, and therefore at most 1 or two in reasonable travel time, it is unlikely to bring in many new clients.

Dyslexia test online and free dyslexia test might attract more clients. The test is available on – http://migraine-dyslexia.com/colour-testing.htm but that page has a PR2. It is not the HomePage and therefore the TPR = 2+3 = 5 . As dyslexia test online has a TPR-KD (Total Page Reputation Keyword Difficulty) of 8.5, top page positioning is unlikely even with a great deal of link power acquisition. Free dyslexia test would be easier but there is still a gap of 2.6 which is above the recommended 2.0.
Another option might be to add the test to the HomePage.
